How Do Webinars and TeleConferences Work?
Webinars and Teleconferences are cost-effective and convenient. You participate in the entire conference from your office using a regular telephone/computer and your access code. Plus, for one fee you can have as many people participate as you can fit around a speakerphone/computer. Webinars and Teleconferences typically run from 1 hour to 2 hours, including a 30 minute Q&A period. During the speaker presentation portion of the conference, registrants are in a "listen-only" mode. After the presentation portion is concluded, the phones are "opened up" for an interactive Q&A session, with conference attendees queuing up to ask questions of the presenters. Questions can also be submitted via email at any time during the conference to be responded to during the Q&A session.
How Will We Receive the Program Materials?
Once your registration is confirmed you will receive an email with a link to our website where you can download and print the comprehensive supporting materials. We will provide the material within two to three (2-3) days of the conference.
CLE and other Continuing Education Credit
NELI’s Teleconferences and Webinars are offered when cutting edge developments occur that merit a quick response and the development of a stand-alone program, such as these, outside of the normal course offerings by NELI. Due to the spontaneous nature of these productions and time-driven application processes, NELI does not seek CLE credit for these programs (with one exception - see below). However, some states will allow self-reporting, and we invite you to contact the Registrar for state specific information at firstname.lastname@example.org. NELI will provide proof of attendance for registered participants.
NELI does file for CLE credit for our annual Ethics in Labor & Employment Law Teleconference.
By registering, you agree to the terms of registration listed here regarding rates, substitutions, and cancellations. Substitutions may be made up to 24 hours in advance of the conference and must be submitted to email@example.com. Cancellations and "no shows" will receive a fee credit, less a $100 administrative fee. Fee credits may be applied during the next 12 month period to any of the Institute's programs or publications. No educational credits will be awarded unless all fees are paid.
