Affirmative Action Workbook

The 31st Annual Affirmative Action Workbook will be updated for NELI's Affirmative Action Briefing series in October 2013. It will be available for shipment in early November 2013.

The 31st Annual Affirmative Action Workbook addresses the many developments affecting federal contractors and refocused priorities being implemented by OFCCP and its Director, Patricia Shiu. All new initiatives by DOL and OFCCP will be included.

This Workbook is intended to serve as a reference guide to non-discrimination and affirmative action regulations and requirements pursuant to Executive Order 11246, as amended, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and the Vietnam Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 (38 U.S.C. 4212), as amended.

This Workbook is substantially updated and revised to take into account OFCCPs "Affirmative Action Program" Executive Order 11246 regulations published in final form on November 13, 2000; its "Compliance Check" Final Rule published on June 22, 2005; its "Internet Applicant Regulations" Final Rule published on October 7, 2005; its "Protected Veterans" Final Rule published on December 1, 2005; its "EO Survey" termination regulation published in final form on September 6, 2006; OFCCP's second set of "Protected Veterans" Final Rules published on August 8, 2007; and other administrative and legal developments since then.
