The 2014 brochure is now available.This was a "watershed" year with case law developments which have opened the door for OFCCP to completely change its historic audit procedures. Now, more than ever before, careful attention to the format and reporting of AAPs is critical to successful audits. AAP vendors, in particular, are strongly encouraged to attend this Workshop, along with the two-day "Advanced Level" Affirmative Action Briefing, which addresses many of the complex issues contractors must deal with on a day-to-day basis to ensure they are in compliance with OFCCP policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
A full day Workshop commencing with an analysis of the history and authority of the Executive Order program requiring affirmative action plans, and including what employers are covered, what they are required to do, how the OFCCP audits compliance, and sanctions OFCCP can impose for non-compliance, a summary of the OFCCP audit process, a detailed discussion of the discrimination law OFCCP applies, and the process of writing and implementing affirmative action programs, including writing the narrative and organizational profile, developing job groups, performing availability analysis and utilization analysis, and developing goals, timetables and good faith efforts. Implementation of the Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities Regulation will also be addressed.Faculty members include John C.
